Let It Go 

Today, I came across a quote from Your Joyologist reminding me to: "Give up what is not serving you. Right here. Right now. Give it up let it go. Set yourself free."   Obviously, this can be used in many facets of our lives, but if you relate it to food and lifestyle, it sill works.  We have a lot of false belief systems that keep us from being the best versions of ourselves and even when it comes to changing the way we eat, this is true.  Many people work under the fear that eating healthy is too hard, too expensive, will set them too far apart from their social circle, will have them be viewed as rigid or strange by others, that their lives wont' be as full, etc, etc.....  None of which are true, unless you let them be true.  It does take work to begin to eat more healthfully and live more healthfully, but the rewards are great.  We have to give up the ideas that are not serving us and address the underlying fears.  So, ask yourself today what underlying fears are sabotaging your efforts to be healthier.  What excuses are you using?  Are they honestly true?  How could you prove yourself wrong?  We can all work on letting go of these beliefs that are not serving us and set ourselves free to look, feel and act healthy.
